FIELDS OF FAITH. FCA is sponsoring an event for the community to come together and celebrate their faith.

Eat. Pray. Sleep. Repeat.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCA, has been quietly working all year. They started with meetings once a week for everyone, and twice a week for leaders. They have gone to every parent night and club activity trying to get others to join their club, and it has grown in many numbers since they started. FCA was a very large club in the school year 2019-2020, but sadly COVID-19 slowed their momentum down a lot. Then they faced other challenges such as their teacher sponsor leaving, but thankfully Coach George Lee stepped up and took the position.

With an exciting year full of improvements, Willis FCA is hosting a Fields of Faith April 4th at Yates stadium. Everyone should plan to attend.

Fields of Faith is an event where students can go to their stadium, play games, worship and listen to follow student’s testimonies. This is not just any other church event. This is run by students that get together and encourage their friends to worship God together.

This event is well known, not just for food and games, but also for the impact it has on students. Fields of Faith is peer on peer learning, meaning that students can have personal experiences about God through their fellow classmates. This can have a large impact on many teens’ lives, because it is much easier to listen to one of your friends, compared to listening to another adult.

This is not just a student event either, everyone can invite their friends, families, youth pastors, and even teachers if you would like to. Who would want to miss out on free food, fun games, and to learn more about the word of God. This is planned to be one of the biggest events of the year, don’t miss out on Fields of Faith at Yates Stadium April 4th.
