Some would say that’s W rizz. The word comes from charisma. It got popular when streamer Kai Cenat first started saying it on his streams which first confused his followers, but then people caught on and it became nation wide slang.
“I think it’s very progressive in the sense that they’re acknowledging our slang,” senior Tito Garcia said. “It’s a good step in the right direction because they see that we have a voice in this world, and we too are developing our own culture different from theirs. They’re starting to say ‘Alright, these kids are growing up, the world is adapting, so let’s adapt to them.’ ”
Generation X has different slang than Gen Z does. Old timers don’t always catch on to the new timers.
“I have no idea what rizz is,” said coach Bryan Thomas. “In my generation we said flirting or hitting up a girl. I don’t like that word rizz. I just like ‘flirting’ because that’s something I can understand.”
It’s a common trend for people to enjoy the word “rizz,” but not when it’s played out. The word is better suited when used in a calm and collected manner.
“I would use it in a sentence by saying “Aye watch how I rizz this girl up real quick. ”I use it as a joke but the fortnite kids overuse it,” said senior Josiah Stephens. “If they see someone rizzing up a girl they’ll say ‘He’s the rizzler. He’s rizzleton. He’s Rizzle Franklin.”
A person either has the unspoken rizz or doesn’t. It’s the ability to romantically attract a partner.

Like most slang there is a standard definition, but it can be used and interpreted in many ways.
“It’s a very useful word when somebody’s trying to wow somebody,” senior Gustavo Serrano said. “To make someone fall in love with them, try to show off to a girl or guy, and do something that’s cool, nice, or helpful.”
The Oxford Dictionary decided the word rizz was of enough significance to declare it word of the year, but some may think otherwise.
“I think it’s really dumb but funny,” sophomore Sophia Hernandez said. “It’s the funniest joke the internet has ever played on the entire world ever.”
