Clear chicken soup. Mushroom soup base. Tomato base soup. House spicy soup base.

These are all options for the soup bases at the all-new All-you-can-eat Chiba Hot Pot in Conroe, Texas. With these four options, people also get the choice of making their soup base mild, medium, or super hot, which is not for the weak. Chiba Hot Pot is an all-new experience in the Conroe area, with an all-you-can-eat buffet, as well as a dessert bar, and a sauce bar.

When customers first the restaurant, they’re greeted with wonderful employees, while they wait for a table. Once a table is ready, customers are seated, with each spot having a hot pot warmer in front of them. The customers are then handed a menu with five base broth options and three spice levels. The broth options are clear chicken, mushroom, tomato and house spicy base. These soup bases each can add medium or super hot spice levels or keep the original flavor. Once completed, customers can check off whichever meat they want. Chicken, beef, sliced pork belly, and pork are all options. If the customer is at a table rather than the conveyor belt, they check off whatever seafood, fried meat, meat, noodles, and veggies they might want. For the people around the conveyor belt, they can grab vegetables like bok choy, and enoki mushrooms, or starches, like dumplings, noodles, and bread. Once the hot pot is turned on and the foods are cooked, the sauces at the sauce bar pair nicely with it. Sauces like chili oil, peanut sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce and sriracha are all at the sauce bar, with even more options. After eating, customers even have the option to go to the dessert bar, which also includes fruits. The experience at Chiba Hot Pot is something new and creative, which is just what the Willis/Conroe area needed. As for prices, the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet is roughly $18.99 before tax, and $28.99 for dinner (before tax). Chiba Hot Pot is also a great spot to hang out with friends.
