Pushing through the final half of the semester, students strive for excellence and success.
The seniors will take a big picture towards the end of the year for memories.
“I am excited to take the class of 2025 panoramic picture with my peers because we will all be together,” senior Taliyah Taylor said.
Students’ goals vary based on academics, sports, and organizations.
“The last nine weeks I will focus on passing my classes and finishing the rest of the school year,” junior Emerson Johnson said. “My biggest goal is to make sales for FFA.”
The thought of summer may distract students from school, but the last push is important for passing classes.
“My goals for the school year are to pass my STAAR tests and make it into any HBCU colleges,” junior Je’Shayla Manning said. “I strive to pay attention more in my classes and pass my finals.”
Some students find the last part of school mentally challenging, but it is worth it.
“I am excited to graduate high school to start playing college ball,” senior Logan Henager said. “Making it through the last nine weeks is about having a strong mindset and pushing yourself.”
Students are daydreaming of summer as they are so close to the end of the year.
“I plan to pass my finals by studying, and I am ready for summer,” junior Lucy Kolbasinski said. “My favorite memory from the school year has been my track meets.”
Time is priceless for seniors who are busy taking on the world.
“I am most excited for Mr. Wildkat, and I cannot wait to be a part of it with my friends,” senior Morgan Morozoff said. “To prepare for the last part of the school year, I spend my time soaking up the last memories with my friends before we graduate.”
