Gold glitter sparkle. Red. Green. White. Elves. Fireworks. Santa Claus and all his friends.

Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special has many different artists featured in it, including appearances by Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, The Peanuts Gang, Mykal-Michelle Harris and Roc & Roe.

But what turns heads the most is the performance with Mariah, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson’s “Oh Santa!” Social media posts are claiming their performance may have saved 2020.

The song starts with Elves dressed in Christmas colors, shouting out the chorus with Mariah appearing first, calling out to Jennifer and then Ariana. The three harmonize together on a stage dancing in the middle of Santa’s workshop.

Jennifer dazzled in a dark green dress. While, Ariana in a silk dark green dress and Mariah in a red and silver lined revealing dress. The entire scene is captured with presents all around and elves filling the space, dancing and of course preparing for the holiday. There are gold bright wheels that turn behind the singers, which sets off a soft tone.

What was the most anticipated and appreciated part of the song was when Ariana and Mariah harmonized their pitches together. Everyone knew both of them could go high, but to do it together in harmony was like a dream come true for all fans to see them in sync. Yet, no one can forget about Jennifer. Her vocals were beyond, and the fact that she did a song with two people who can break glass with their pitches is wonderful. This is what everyone needed to end their year.

At the end, the elves cheered for their epic performance while Mariah pointed out Ariana and Jennifer.

Overall, the song is fantastic and what was needed this holiday. It has a catchy, holiday feel to it and will stay on repeat for a while. There are over 13 million views on YouTube and the comments praise the singers. It brought together three talented female singers who have numerous awards for their voices.

This isn’t the first time Mariah’s music has been the talk for the holidays. Of course, “All I want for Christmas” is a hit decade after decade. Every year gets better when it comes to Christmas music, but this year will never be forgotten with the three queens: Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, and Jennifer Hudson. Their performance moved the world and put everyone in a nice mood for the holidays.
