Mr. Wildkat is a pageant for the boys, a way to create friendly competition and raise funds for Operation Graduation.
Seniors spent loads of time and energy preparing for this event.
“Participating in Mr. Wildkat was the most fun I have probably ever had,” senior Gia Casso said. “We all sacrificed copious amounts of time into the event, but it was beyond worth it.”
The contestants had to compete in multiple funny categories.
“The funniest moment of the show was putting together the swimwear portion,” senior Gia Casso said. “All the boys wore swimsuits, or girly outfits to make the crowd laugh.”
Seniors feel sentimental as they bond joyously for one of the last times.
“This experience was great because we had such a great time laughing together,” senior Tameya Surgers said. “My favorite part of it all was getting ready in the dressing room and taking pictures.”
Contestants were able to reveal their true talents and personalities through the talent show portion of the event.
“The event was very fun, but I think the funniest moment was when Cody, Xane, Cutler, and I did the bike in the talent section,” senior Sheydin Faust said.
Many seniors had to push themselves to be comfortable in front of the crowd to get laughs.
“Mr. Wildkat allowed people to get out of their comfort zones to make people laugh,” senior Garrett Wilson said. “The funniest part was learning all of the dances at practices.”
Mr. Wildkat was an enjoyable event for everyone involved.
“The practices were fun, and I enjoyed the event,” senior Marcco Toledo said. “It got me out of my comfort zone.”
The evening was full of laughter and joy.
“My Mr. Wildkat experience was great,” senior Amanda Perez said. “One funny moment was when we recorded videos, and I made a funny face in it.”
