PSAT Preparations

Students from all over the globe will sharpen their pencils and ready their IDs to take the PSAT on October 25th, 2022.
Willis High school will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT to all 11th grade students free of charge on October the 25th 2022.
For 9th and 10th graders who are interested in the PSAT/NMSQT, will have to register with Mrs. Davis. A full registration form and cash payment of $18 is required and it must be done today, September 2nd, 2022.
Students take the PSAT for many different reasons.
“Personally I took it so I could get an idea of what the actual SAT would be like,” senior Breahna Tilley said. “I also took it so I could see my academic strengths and weaknesses.”
It is highly recommended by staff and students alike to take this test when this chance is provided.
“Scoring well on the PSAT/NMSQT can give students the distinction of being a National Merit Scholar,” Advanced Academics Case Manager Amy Rogers said. “It also provides greater opportunities for achievement-based scholarships.”
