PHOTOSTORY: Boys soccer senior night

FOR THE LAST TIME.

Walking down the field with parents, senior Axel Ochoa stands on the field for their last game ever. After a long season, Ochoa got a chance to say goodbye to all his teammates and move onto the next chapter of his life.

BROTHERLY LOVE.

While posing for a photo, senior Christopher Luna stands with brother after walking down the field on Senior night. With the game against Grand Oaks was their final game, all the seniors were starters with Luna being one of the captains.

CHERISHING EVERY STEP.

Having a chance to be with family and able to be with his girlfriend, seniors Alexander Hernandez and Kelsey Diaz walk down the field. During football season as well, Diaz and Hernandez stood on the field being crowned homecoming king and queen

ONE LAST GAME.

Before the game starts, all the seniors and Coach Chance Young come together to have one last photo before the season ends. With 11 seniors being on the varsity team, teammates from both JVA and JVB rush to the field to take their last photos with the seniors.

FINAL SAVE.

As the game intensifies with Grand Oaks attempting to score, senior Adrian Diaz gets ready to jump and block the ball. Diaz has been on the soccer team since freshman year and continued to improve in the skills and aspects of being a goalie.

SEND IT DOWN.

Trying to get the ball to the other side of the field senior Cash Hayter gets ready to kick the ball to the forwards. With the 4-4-2 formation the defensive line works hard to pass up the ball to the mid-fielders and avoid the ball from getting close to the goal.

PROUD WILDKAT.

During the walk out, senior Fabian stands with junior Nadia Rice as they watch his remaining teammates names announced. During their last game, players from all the teams stood in the middle of the field cheering on the seniors as they passed by.

Victoria is a senior at WHS, and it is her second year in yearbook. For the past year, she has been in Student Council, UIL Journalism, SNHS, MAO, NHS, and DECA. She will be the editor of the yearbook this year, with other leadership positions as President of both Spanish and the National Honor Society, Student Body Treasurer, and Vice President of DECA.
