FALL IS IN THE AIR. October brings fall festivals to the area.

The color-changing leaves and temperatures under 90 degrees signal the start of the fall season here in Texas. Amidst all the chaos going on right now, several organizations in the community are preparing for their seasonal fall festivals that will bring the community together.

If you’re looking for a good opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time with family this season, the Willis-Conroe area holds several exciting fall celebrations open to just about anyone.

On Saturday, October 28th, the Grace Fellowship Church will host their annual Willis Holiday Festival & Market from 9 A.M to 9 P.M. This event includes live music, food trucks, and 80+ local vendors to buy from. It is a free, once-a-year event, and is located at 12615 Cude Cemetery Rd, Willis, TX.

If you have young kids or younger siblings that desperately need to get out of the house, the Fall Into Fun Fest is another great option.

The festival takes place on October 7th, 2023 from 10am-2pm. Hellowoodlands.com says that this festival features all sorts of fun and engaging activities for kids such as face painting, a bouncy house, rock wall climbing, a trackless train, stage entertainers and plenty more. It is located at Heritage Place, 500 Collins St, Conroe, TX.

If you’ve ever wondered where you could possibly find a pumpkin patch with live music and tons of family fun, look no further than the Creekside Park West Fall Festival in Spring, TX.

The Creekside Park West Fall Festival is a free event that invites everybody to come join a day of fall fun. It takes place on October 7th, starting at 11am, and features a pumpkin patch, rock climbing wall, a live DJ, family games and lots more. The address of this festival is Creekside Park West, 26435 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX.

The winter season is still a few months away, but it’s never too early to start looking for engaging local activities to do in your free time.

On December 2nd from 9am to 1pm, The Historic Hill House and Farm in Willis, TX will host a Breakfast with Santa and Winter Festival. Resy.com says that this lively event will feature a delicious buffet in the Hill House’s 1840’s barn, plenty of arts and crafts for kids, photos with Santa, cookies and other treats. It is perfect for the whole family to go and have an unforgettable day with Santa Claus himself.
