RIP GOALS. The spooky decorations at the end of the A-side third floor features spiders, skeletons and fake tombstones. The teachers at the end of the hall wanted to decorate to show a little spirit during Halloween.

Spider webs hanging. Graves on the floor. Bats on the wall. Lights turned off. The third floor A-side has a lot of  Halloween spirit to get everyone in the mood for tricks and treats.

Students are excited to come to school because the decorations that our teachers are putting such hard work into make everyone excited. Seeing the faces light up when a student walks down the hall is amazing to see.

“It makes me excited to come to school to see if any new decorations were added,” junior Kennedy Pinard said.

We all remember the feeling of walking into your elementary classroom looking at and playing with all the new decorations. Kids would always be so excited and want to know how the next season was going to be decorated.

“The hallway being decorated makes me nostalgic,” Pinnard said.” It reminds me of when I was in elementary school when the whole school would be decorated and everyone was having a good time.”

The hallway requires a lot of time and hard work to make it look so good for every season. All the teachers and some of the kids in that hallway helped out. They make the hallway look so good with all the cutout bats and spider webs on the wall. They even dim the lights to set the spooky/scary tone.

“It took a lot of effort,” science teacher Heather Lebow said. “It took place over several weeks to get fully ready.”

The hallway is decorated to help boost the spirits of the students, and just make it a fun atmosphere in the school. It’s fun to do for both the teachers and students.

“We just like to make it fun for the students and teachers who walk through this hallway,” science teacher Jason Manning said. “Decorating the hallway really helps get the spirits up for the holidays.”
