Wildkats make predictions for 2024

2024. Staff and students make predictions for the new year.

2024 is finally here and many people like to make predictions for the upcoming year. Here are some predictions that some of our students and teachers made regarding the year ahead. All predictions were made the week of Jan. 8-12, 2024. 

Tesla is going to take over. – Lanie Elkins, 11

The Ravens are gonna win the Super Bowl, and the Green Bay Packers are going to upset the Cowboys. – Coach Brett Carline.

Willis baseball will win district. – Maddox Keo, 12

DeSantis will be president. Audrie Call, 11

Baseball and softball will go to playoffs. Jason Fojt, assistant principal

The Dallas Cowboys are gonna make it to the Super Bowl. Coach Stephanie Shelly, assistant athletic coordinator

Powerlifting will have a very successful year. – Coach Anthony, powerlifting coach

I hope inflation goes down. Whitney Van Cleve, history teacher

It will snow this winter. Langston Ramsden, 10

Sydney Prihoda
Sydney is a junior at Willis High School. She's on the Willis varsity softball team and has been awarded co-offensive player of the year her freshman year along with academic awards. She is a member of the student council and has recently become a staff member for the Willis High School newspaper, and she plans on  joining the National Honor Society this year. Sydney has lived in Willis her whole life and is excited to travel when she graduates. She is planning on playing college softball after high school and wants to get her degree in kinesiology to become a physical therapist/trainer when she grows up. In her free time she loves being outdoors and playing spikeball.
