“My favorite Christmas song is Jingle Bells,” junior Bri Barnett said. “Around Christmas time my grandpa and I would do something special and sing this song. He ended up passing away last year but it was always my favorite thing to do.”

“I like Christmas Tree Farm by Taylor Swift,” sophomore Violet Hayter said. “I add this song to my playlist every year because it really captures the Christmas spirit and makes me happy.”
The transition from Christmas time and celebrating the season, to the end of the year can be a sweeter with songs to capture it.
“Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John Lennon,” junior Lena King said. “Because I feel like it truly encapsulates the feeling of the year finally being over and the choir is really beautiful.”
Christmas songs make the listeners feel excited in their own ways and ready for the holiday season.
“Jingle bells is the best song for Christmas,” junior Charley Landers said. “Because it makes me feel like I’m in ‘Polar Express’ or something. Its giving calmness.”
The art of Christmas songs truly bring great memories to the listeners, letting them associate Christmas with a particular song.
“’Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ by Frank Sinatra is my pick,” sophomore Mayra Ayarely said. “My best friend’s mom always puts this song on when we’re doing any sort of Christmas activity so now I associate this song with those memories. Also, I just love Frank Sinatra.”
