Timothy Gunn is a senior and first year newspaper contributor. Along with newspaper, he is also actively involved in wrestling and drama. Timothy enjoys long walks on the beach and has 50 unique pairs of socks. He wants to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study family law.

EARLY MORNING WARM UP. Before the band loads the bus for area, the group spends time doing breathing exercises and warming up.

LOTUS FLOWER. Performing at area competition at Galena Park, seniors Karin Dio and Amari May and junior Avery Cheatham work to impress the judges and do their best.

TOGETHER. Using time before their 9 AM performance, junior Ben Bright warms up. The band was the first to perform at the event.

TUNING IN. Using an app on senior Angel Garcia's phone, freshman Elijah Maddox tunes his trumpet before area competition.

BAND TEN HUT. Ready to show the judges the product of all their hard work, members of the band warm up at Galena Park. The band reported to the band hall at 4:30 A.M. to make it to the competition on time.
