His and Hers (2026) TV-MA

Director: William Oldroyd

Starring: Tessa Thompson, Jon Bernthal, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Crystal R. Fox

All relationships have problems: jealousy, suspicion and lies. Throw murder, conspiracy and small town gossip in the mix, and all bets are off. In the 2026 Netflix psychological thriller, we follow Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson) and her estranged husband detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal) as their doomed relationship is only one element that makes “His and Hers” a compelling mystery.

We first met Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson) when she was getting a tooth removed a year later than prescribed. This is when we learn she has been gone for a year. As she travels back to her small town to cover a story, we slowly see characters from her past emerge. Her estranged husband (Jon Berthnal), Andrews mother (Crystal R. Fox), estranged friends from Andrews past including Zoe Harper (Marin Ireland), Catherine Kelly (Astrid Rotenberry), and murdered best friend Rachel Hopkins (Janie Tisdell).

The group of actors do an outstanding job making watchers clench their toes at every turn. They make you second guess every character, until you’ve guessed everyone but the true killer. Murder, mystery, and falling back in love.

“His and Hers” dominated Netflix’s global top 10 chart for many weeks, and had over 49 million viewers just in its first few weeks.

Find a night this week, when you are craving a great mystery. Sit down and binge this six episode series. These characters will make you fall in love with them or even hate them. But one thing is for sure, you will be craving for more once you’re done.
